As an Iowa native, or what is considered the heart of the American Heartland we pay homage to it through our name and its history. As a fourth generation craftsman, working with American hardwoods is in our blood. With each reclamation of a barn we dismantle we're preserving our past through craftsmanship that endures time itself.

HrtlndDesigns story starts in northern Iowa at The Geneva Market. While attending this popular show, we decided that I should take my growing curiosity for carpentry and junk collecting to the public. After relocating to Kindred, North Dakota our story really begins to flourish..
